Weekly Update 12/1/13 and 12/8/13

The first week of December was a transfer week and Elder Paulson stayed in Waimate.

I worked with Elder T for two weeks or so. He’s my District Leader. It has been good working with him. We haven't been doing as much service, but we have been trying to do a lot of finding. I have knocked basically all of Waimate already.

Elder M is my new companion. He was born and raised in Auckland, but was living in Tonga for two years before his mission. We did a lot of service this week, helping stack wood and cut hedges and stuff. We had dinner Sunday night with the Stonely’s, some members up in Timaru. Sala is a returned missionary; I think she served in the San Diego mission?

We only taught one lesson this week. The guy totally felt something. We could tell by the way he uncharacteristically left the lesson at the end.

All in all, it was a pretty good week. This Saturday, we are having the annual Strawberry Fare here in Waimate, and we have a booth. We are going to try to talk to hundreds of people. And apparently the strawberries here are amazing. Sounds good to me.
