Weekly Update 2/9/14

I am doing pretty good. The week was alright. We are pretty much just waiting until the transfer to leave Waimate and go to a new area. All we have to do is keep trying to get 150 people talked with every week. We haven't really had any service opportunities. Just trying to talk to people. No meetings this week, other than just our weekly District Meeting. There was an Area Presidency Broadcast yesterday in Christchurch, so I think we might be able to see it next week or something. Not really too sure.

The next transfer is the 26th of February. I'm not really sure how this transfer will work with this area being closed. It might just be like normal and someone will come and get the church things out of the flat, or maybe we will move in with the Timaru Elders for a few days. Again, not really sure.

I am still writing in my journal every night, even when there isn't that much to write about.

Last week, we went door knocking on a road that is a fair bit out of town. The houses are far apart, because it is mostly just farming land. We went there so we could find the new member family who has just moved in. We found them and talked for probably an hour or so. They seem really nice, it is just a shame they have come so late into our time here in Waimate.

Also, thank you for the package. It came this morning. Nice, trying to pull a fast one on me with the customs tag. Where did you get the tie pins?
